With their amber tint, PLASMA® lenses block 88% of blue light between 380 and 450 nm. That's the highest filtration level at Horus X, well above the clear GHOST® and ULTRA ESPORT™ lenses, which favor a neutral tint. In return, the display takes on a warm hue your eyes adjust to within minutes. The lenses offer UV400 protection and comply with CE ISO 12312-1 and FDA 21 CFR 801.410 impact-resistance standards, tested by an independent laboratory.

The evening tint

Amber comes into its own once night falls. According to Horus X, screens and LEDs emit in the blue-green spectrum, from 380 to 520 nm, light that chronobiology ties to melatonin production, the sleep hormone. PLASMA® lenses were designed for those hours, with the strongest filtration in the lineup across the 380 to 450 nm range. Slip them on for your last games of the evening and ease the move from screen to bed.
