The Horus X Alpha Focus Gaming keep the PLASMA® amber lenses and add side shields that close off the sides of the frame. With 88% of blue light filtered between 380 and 450 nm and less stray light coming in from the side, they keep your eyes locked on the screen for long evening sessions!

88% less blue light on your screen

With their amber tint, PLASMA® lenses block 88% of blue light between 380 and 450 nm. That's the highest filtration level at Horus X, well above the clear GHOST® and ULTRA ESPORT™ lenses, which favor a neutral tint. In return, the display takes on a warm hue your eyes adjust to within minutes. The lenses offer UV400 protection and comply with CE ISO 12312-1 and FDA 21 CFR 801.410 impact-resistance standards, tested by an independent laboratory.

The evening tint

Amber comes into its own once night falls. According to Horus X, screens and LEDs emit in the blue-green spectrum, from 380 to 520 nm, light that chronobiology ties to melatonin production, the sleep hormone. PLASMA® lenses were designed for those hours, with the strongest filtration in the lineup across the 380 to 450 nm range. Slip them on for your last games of the evening and ease the move from screen to bed.

Sides closed, screen in your sights

What sets the Alpha Focus Gaming apart is their side shields. Mounted on each side of the frame, they cover the gap between the lenses and your temples, cutting down stray light coming in from the side, whether from a desk lamp, a window or your setup's LEDs. Your field of view stays focused on the screen, right where the lens filtering does its job. They come in two styles, Midnight Black and Graphite Grey, to match the pair to your setup.
