Finalmouse SLX Achilles Wireless - Son of Peleus

Before Achilles was born, Zeus and Poseidon gave up on Thetis for fear of a son stronger than his father, and handed her to a mortal, Peleus, king of the Myrmidons. The Starlight X Achilles Son of Peleus colorway carries that side of the legend, in black and gold lines that recall a king’s earthly strength. This limited edition pairs with Son of Thetis, the immortal half of the same story.

The Finalmouse F1 is a custom sensor platform developed with PixArt exclusively for the Starlight X, with gains in resolution accuracy, IPS, maximum resolution and power efficiency. Finalmouse then validates every stage of its behavior in-house with robotic testing and firmware tuning, because a sensor is only as good as its implementation. PerfectSync keeps sensor polling, MCU, RF and USB aligned without added buffering.

The Starlight X brings Finalmouse’s first new shape in 11 years, refined over four years, clay sculpting and 50+ physical prototypes. Built for tactical FPS like Counter-Strike, it adds a fuller rear hump and more support for palm and claw grip, with smoother transitions and fewer pressure points. At 124.8 mm long and 38 g, it is meant to disappear in your hand.

With TMR-DS, a magnet under each clicker and a TMR sensor read the moment you commit to a click, before the switch even snaps. You set actuation in 0.01 mm steps, with 40 positions inside the pre-travel, while Blue Shell Pink Dot switches keep the mechanical feel. A Nordic nRF54LM20 runs in both the mouse and the receiver, and PerfectPolling handles timing beyond a fixed polling rate.

Finalmouse calls the Starlight X its largest engineering redesign, and the build shows it. A carbon fiber super composite developed with aerospace partners drops below 0.9 g/cm³, lighter than water, with over 3 times the strength-to-weight ratio of magnesium. 15 graphite-coated titanium screws lock the 3-component unibody cage, and openings sit only where your hand never rests. Settings live in Xpanel, via the web app on Windows, Mac and Linux.
