On the Ghost Extreme, ATK sets the Pixart PAW3950 Ultra toward the front of the shell, a placement that makes fingertip adjustments feel more immediate. The sensor tracks at 750 IPS with 50 G of acceleration, reaches 30,000 DPI natively and 42,000 DPI overclocked, and its LOD steps across 11 levels from 0.7 to 1.7 mm.

Stiff where it counts, open everywhere else

Opening both shells could have made the Ghost Extreme flex, so ATK built an internal central skeleton that reinforces the sides and balances the weight around 48 g. The carbon fiber composite adds a forged-carbon texture under your fingers, and the compact X1 shape, 121 mm long, fits small to medium hands in palm, claw or fingertip grip.

Faster MCU, cleaner clicks

Under the shell, the Ghost Extreme pairs a Nordic 54H20 MCU with ATK’s ApexShark MAX firmware, holding 8000 Hz wired and wireless over 8T8R transmission. Its Custom Optical switches respond fast while keeping a mechanical-style click, and a TTC Gold encoder handles the wheel. The 300 mAh battery gives up to 130 hours at 1000 Hz, and the mouse connects wired or over 2.4 GHz.

Built for players who live on optical

Inside the Ghost range, the Extreme drops Bluetooth to focus on wired and 2.4 GHz play, and swaps mechanical clicks for optical switches on a Nordic 54H20. ATK ships it in a carbon-textured Armory case, and ATK HUB, as a desktop app or in the browser, lets you save DPI, LOD and polling rate settings right away.
