Maxesport raises €800,000 in its first funding round

A new milestone for Maxesport!

We are very happy to announce that we have just closed a €800,000 funding round with a family office and several Business Angels. This capital increase was initiated last year with the support of Kickston Partners.

A little over two years after launching our ecommerce site maxesport.gg, specialised in esport equipment, we have closed a first funding round with the same ambition as always: becoming the leader of gaming equipment in Europe.

The main objectives of this round are launching an English shop to open up sales to all of Europe, accelerating customer acquisition through a major communication plan, and creating a brand that will develop its own products.

After two years of growth and 2021 revenue of over €1.5M, we have demonstrated both the relevance of Maxesport’s positioning for players and esport fans, and our ability to execute. This round will now allow us to accelerate even further on a project that is already well underway and has proven itself.

Many projects are already in progress, including the release of a new maxesport.gg site that will have an English version in the coming months. We will also strengthen the existing team with several key profiles on high value-added topics.
